You don’t have to feel intimidated, at a loss or confused by all the commands and syntax. Because I’m going to show you exactly:

How to find the right commands and examples using the awesome PowerShell built-in help system.

·        I’ll give you enough examples that you’ll understand the command syntax.

·        Take a look at the text based console, demonstrate TAB completion.

·        Then we’ll setup the console and choose options, fonts, font size and colors

·        Then we will work with the ISE, demonstrate Intellisense.

·        Learn how to Expand the power of PowerShell by adding modules and cmdlets

·        How to explore the pipeline, talk about the ways to get commands through the pipeline

·        Talk about providers

·        Then we’ll take a look at objects & variables, Arrays and Hash tables

·        We’ll Talk about script security

·        How to Pull information using WMI and CIM

·        Finally, we’ll show you how to remote into 1 or a hundred servers or computers and much, much more.

Best of all I’m going to show you where to go when you need more help.

After I finish laying a solid foundation, roll up your sleeves because Instructor Paul will teach the second half of the course. In no time at all you will be creating scripts to automate your Windows server environment like you never thought possible.
